Agatha Ruiz De La Prada Lip Balm

Agatha Ruiz de la Prada

Love love looooooooove Agatha Ruiz de la Prada lip balms. These fruity flavored glosses smell so good you will literally want to lick them right off your lips!

They give you a pretty shine, but they’re not too sticky like some lip glosses. And the smell is to die for. I tried to just buy one last time I was at the store, but I ended up getting three more flavors! My favorites are the Kiwi and Passion Fruit Flavors, but they also have a delicious scented Raspberry, Cherry, Papaya and Tutti Frutti.

For only five dollars how can you resist these little glosses? Plus the tins that they come in are adorable. You know you’re fashionable when even your lip gloss tin is cute! Buy them here.

Styli-Style Waterproof Eye-line And Seal

You are not going to believe me when I tell you where I found the most amazing pencil eyeliner….Walgreen’s! I had been in search of a waterproof pencil eye-liner that wouldn’t smudge. So I googled around, found a forum for professional makeup artists, and got some opinions. Lots of them recommended this brand, Styli-Style so I decided I’d give it a try.

It’s AMAZING! Styli Style Waterproof Eye-line & Seal goes on really smooth, it’s truly waterproof and doesn’t love me with smudges, but the best thing is that it still comes off easy at night with makeup remover. The price works too, I couldn’t believe how cheap it is! At just $6.00 this great product is truly a steal. Buy it here. Or if you REALLY trust me, for $25.00 you can buy a whole pack :)

Denco Easy Grip Foot Smoother

Rough, gnarly feet, be gone!

The back of my feet get very rough and dry, a total nightmare. In the past I’ve used a pumice stone, but this metal Denco Easy Grip Foot Smoother is the business. Unlike a rock hard pumice stone, its flexible yet sturdy, with a soft rubber handle. A major upgrade.

Now, y’all know I love a good deal — and not only is this under my $20 per-product goal, but its guaranteed for life. The stainless steel abrasive sheet is designed to maintain cleanliness, too.

I’ve Got You In My Clutches

I know a lot of girls think they’re annoying to hold, but I love, love, love clutch purses, especially for going out. It’s fun to go from schlepping a work bag and a million papers and a stray bra and sunglasses and breath mints and parking tickets to just a fun little bag with your phone and some money. My favorite ones for right now are very simple cloth-and-wood styles, and most aren’t even terribly expensive.

This one (pictured) from Old Navy combines a clean, graphic pattern with a playful, girly shape. It’s $19.50, so you don’t have to feel guilty for wanting something so all-out trendy. For a more luxe-bohemian take on the bag, Free People has this one for $88.

Getting A Basic Just Right: Velvet Tees

I wouldn’t call myself an expensive t-shirt person, but I picked a couple of these up at an Anthropologie clearance rack ages ago and, um, they still look fine. For this or any t-shirt, that’s pretty amazing. No pills, no pit stains, no nothing.

I’m not into all this nautical stuff for spring because it makes me feel like a little boy in an Olan Mills photograph, but I love the very simple, very French black or navy striped tee. They make you feel feminine without being dressed up at all. This tunic-length version is great to wear now as a layering piece or, in the spring, would be a perfect counterpart to the super-bright shorts that are starting to show up in stores.

Available here.
