Fringe Benefits

We’ve all been writing a lot about the fresh take on hippie looks we’ve been seeing this Spring, but fringe is one of my favorite elements of it. Nothing says “I’d rather be at a rock festival with all my tan friends” better.
Top left, Nicole Miller, on sale at Bluefly for $149.99, here.
Top middle, detail from On the Fringe bag, Free People, $348.
Top right, $225, Custom by Levy. Before you wave your hand and say “never heard of it,” Custom by Levy has taken orders from Cher (the all-time queen of fringe), Molly Sims, and Rebecca Romijn. Available here.
Bottom right, bead and chain fringe necklace, $38, Urban Outfitters. Available here.
Bottom left, Philip Lim 3.1 $395, available here. (There’s also a really cute $195 t-shirt version of this here.)
This flat sandal from Urban Outfitters, at $28, is by far my favorite. I think I’m going to buy them. I found plenty of $200 takes on this shoe, but why not save the money? Beers can be on you this weekend. Available here.

Fringe, fringe, fringe - I love the word. I love how fringe looks and how it dances as you walk. I LOVE FRINGE!
