I’m seeing no-button cardigans absolutely everywhere I go, and I’ve tried on enough at this point to have developed a few tips on making them work:
-Boxy all over never works for anyone. If the front is flowy, make sure the arms and shoulders fit you snugly enough to offset the extra fabric.
-Never pick a cardigan longer than your little sundress.
-Skip the patterns. With an open front and the extra volume that brings, you don’t want to add even more.
-With accessories, go long! A long necklace, with the open shape, creates a slimming line and an interesting contrast.
