Since starting INO’s Beauty and Fashion section, I’ve become a bit of a product junkie. I went from barely remembering to wash my face to 5 products a session! Can you imagine?! I wanted to post my favorites as I have become very serious about my skin… especially since I’ve turned the 2 to a 3 in my age if you know what I mean. When it heads on over to a 4, I want to be prepared with a silky smooth organ.
Almost all of them are on Amazon. Tried to get the whole bunch from one place, but it was harder than I thought.
OK — to wash off the guck, I NOW use Neutrogena Make Up Remover cloths. I used to use Ponds brand, but then I interviewed Lindsay Price and she went on and on about the line. So I was sold. And Neutrogena it is. The preferred method is still to use soap and water, but I’m still lazy. So cloths it is and always will be.
Then I use Villa Floriani Sage Toner. I purchased it from the Red Door Spa on a recent facial trip. There is a cucumber one that is just an effective (and yummy). But the lady I had recommended that one so I went with it.
Here is where it gets fancy. I just started to use Estee Lauders’ Idealist Pore Minimizing Skin Refinisher and I am loving it! I can really see a difference in my pores. I haven’t taken care of them throughout the years, so they are fairly large. This product (along with one other that I use only at night) is dramatically improving and minimizing those pesky pores. I can’t be happier!
Back to Red Door Spa for my moisturizer. I use Elizabeth Arden’s Perpetual Moisture 24 Lotion. It smells like cucumbers. So FRESH and light. Three pumps and I am on my way.
But not before I complete the entire process with Shiseido’s Sun Protection Eye Cream. It has an SPF of 32 in it and makes me feel like I am doing something good for my skin.
I am looking for a product to tone down the puffiness and dark circles I have (thanks Natalie and Liam). So if you have any advice, I am all ears.
What do you use in the morning?
